Workshop + Storage Building

This custom 24x30 detached workshop was designed for a woodworker who needed a dedicated space with climate control and reliable power. The building had to serve as both a functional workshop and secure storage, so every detail was planned around practical daily use.

We handled the full build from slab to finish. Framing was done with 2x6 exterior walls to accommodate thicker insulation, which was critical for keeping the space comfortable during both summer heat and winter cold. The insulated walls also help with dust containment and noise reduction.

A metal roof system was chosen for durability and low maintenance. The covered front porch provides a shaded area for working outdoors and keeps rain away from the entrance. A 200-amp sub-panel was installed to handle the woodworker's heavy-duty tools, including a table saw, planer, and dust collection system.

The entire project was completed in 6 weeks, from permit to final inspection. The homeowner now has a professional-grade workspace right in his backyard.
