Exterior Renovation - Trim, Siding & Paint

This 1970s ranch in Southport was showing its age. The original wood siding was rotting in several areas, the trim was peeling, and the exterior paint had faded and chipped beyond touch-up repair. The homeowner was preparing to sell and needed the exterior brought up to modern standards quickly.

We started by stripping all existing siding down to the sheathing, inspecting for moisture damage, and replacing any compromised sections of the substrate. New house wrap went on before the HardiePlank fiber cement siding was installed. HardiePlank was chosen specifically for its resistance to moisture, termites, and the coastal salt air that destroys wood siding in this area.

All trim was replaced with PVC, which will never rot, warp, or need repainting. The full exterior received two coats of Sherwin-Williams exterior paint in a color the homeowner selected to complement the new roof and updated landscaping.

New soffit and fascia completed the transformation. The entire project took 2 weeks, and the home went on the market looking like a completely different property. The homeowner received multiple offers within the first week of listing.
